Visiting Artist Workshop: Hanging Book with Mary Ann Sampson

Join us for an all-day book arts workshop with exhibiting artist Mary Ann Sampson. Sampson will guide us through the ancient method of building a hanging book structure, also known as a prayer book. The Palm-leaf prayer book inspired the Hanging Book. Sampson has created hand-made books since the 1980s and will share her gift and knowledge with us for this unique workshop. All supplies are included. We encourage students to bring a sack lunch or order food delivery as we will be making in the studio all day. Registration required.
