We’ve had so much fun taking the tour groups through the new exhibitions. The kids seem to really respond to the work. One of the 3rd graders said that he wants to work in a museum one day, but he also wants to be a teacher. We pointed out that Ms. Brook is an educator in a museum and his mind was blown!

We’ve even had one of our artists join a tour. Sydney Foster joined a group of 2nd graders from Hidden Lake Primary School recently. She talked to them about her work and many of them recognized some of the places around Dothan captured in her photographs. It’s always a special moment when you can connect the artists directly with our community members and students!
