This week marks the end of our weekly tours with our A+ Art Schools: Beverlye Intermediate School and Hidden Lake Primary School. It has been a pleasure having so many young students visit the museum each week! During the extended tour and activities, students created their own unique work of art then spent time touring and learning about the art on display at WMA!

Quick stats:

• Number of A+ Art School tours: 32
• Number of unique visits experienced since September 2019: Over 2000 students with 250 teachers and chaperones 

To prepare for all of the tours, we purchased over 400 pounds of art supplies! Paper, watercolors, oil pastels, and even more paper – everything our visiting young artists needed to create a masterpiece at the museum!
