WMA ANNUAL FUND
Help to conserve and present the collection for ours and future generations by providing a gift over and above your membership. Tributes and gifts in the honor or memory of someone special also help to build this important fund.

Upon receipt of your gift, WMA will notify your special person or their family with a card, which describes the dedication.  Tribute gifts are also recognized in the WMA Biennial Report.  All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

ENDOWMENT
Direct your gift to the WMA Endowment Fund, in perpetual support of WMA.
 

ART EDUCATION FUND
Funds designated to support arts education activities such as the Children's gallery, classes and workshops, school tours, and K-12 outreach.
 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Wiregrass Museum of Art, where volunteers help the Museum to fulfill our mission of creating great experiences with great art for everyone. Our volunteer program is varied and flexible. You have the option of being part of our docent group or volunteering on your own.

Docents
Year round Docents provide Museum tours to visitors and school children. They aide the educational outreach to students, visitors, and the Wiregrass community. Docent volunteers undergo a training period that focuses on the Museum's permanent collection, special exhibitions and outreach lessons.   Docents agree to serve for at least one year as gallery educators following their training.

Kennington Committee
Named after artist Dale Kennington, this group of ladies supports fundraising efforts through various avenues including Upscale Resale, a high-end consignment sale,  and Yard Party for Art, our annual Rockin' Fundraiser.

Special Projects Volunteers
Special Projects Volunteers support the Museum through their contributions as an individual apart from a group. They assist with Museum events and lectures, help with special family programs, assist with  mailings and computer data entry and work within Museum departments.

Special Projects Volunteers must be 16 years and older and fill out a form that lets us know their areas of interest and the amount of time they are willing to contribute. They are contacted as opportunities in their area of interest develop because of immediate Museum needs.
