Birthdays are more fun at the Wiregrass Art Museum!

For two hours, a minimum of 15 children ($5 each additional child) get an art project led by a WMA art educator, face painting, free play in Artventures and the private use of the art classroom.  Setup and cleanup are included. 

Cost:  $150 ($50 deposit is required to book, but goes toward total cost of party)
Must be WMA Family Membership level and above.

GUIDED TOURS

Bring your group to the Wiregrass Museum of Art for an exciting guided tour. Perfect for church groups, family reunions, school classes, and other groups that desire a professional tour through the museum.

  • Professional tours by our trained art educators are exciting and informative.  You'll look at art in a whole new light!  Pair it with an innovative art lesson and your group will learn about art by looking and creating.
  •  

 

  • Tours are approximately 30 - 45 minutes long
  • Must be one chaperone for every 15 students
  • Maximum group size 30 (Split into two groups of 15)
  • If your group is larger than 30 people please contact us for special arrangements
  • 2 weeks advanced notice is required on guided and self-guided tours

Self-Guided Tours

If you have a large group that would like to tour together, feel free to take a free self-guided tour.  Ask our front desk for a guide to help you navigate through our six changing galleries.  Please schedule your visit with WMA to avoid conflicts.

Your next special event should be in the perfect setting, and there’s no better place than the Conference Center at the Wiregrass Museum of Art. 

This near 100-year-old historic structure has been artfully renovated from the city’s Municipal Light & Water Plant to offer a unique environment for business meetings, conferences, family reunions, weddings and more. The Facility features the second-floor Great Hall, suitable for large auditorium-style meetings or presentations, receptions and banquets; and on the first floor, the meeting hall can be partitioned into four smaller meeting rooms or left open for a large gathering. An outdoor courtyard adjacent to the meeting hall offers your guests room for fresh air, a phone break or a chat with friends. The Museum Garden makes an impressive entrance to the conference center and can also be rented for special events. All areas are handicap accessible.

CUISINE ART - ART OF THE PARTY
Legendary Caterer Susan Mason

Susan Mason brings her elegant entertainment style to Cuisine Art during this exciting presentation and demonstration.  Mason, a native of Dothan, has developed an award-winning entertainment empire.  Based in Savannah, GA, her business has grown over 22 years from small cocktail parties to weddings for 1,000 guests.  Mason has catered on yachts and private jets.  Her many clients include celebrities, and her parties and recipes have been featured in Traditional Homes, Veranda, Southern Accents, Elle Decor and Esquire - who named her one of seven "kick ass" caterers of the year.  Mason was the featured chef at the 2009 James Beard Foundation in New York and Savannah Magazine selected her "Best Caterer in Savannah," for the fifth consecutive year.  Her first cookbook Susan Mason's Silver Service, Elegant Savannah Cuisine, was nominated for two book awards and is now in its fourth printing.
